Members lopchopstop Posted October 7, 2005 Members Posted October 7, 2005 I am mainly an acoustic player I have recently got a XB-400 Washburn and am experiencing quite alot of noise when i plug it into my normal electric amp. I have checked and it is not the pickup's battery or the cable.I have also looked at the jack and can see nothing obviously wrong. Is this just because i am not using a dedicated bass amp? Or perhaps faulty pickups?Any opinions much appreciated...
Members 12StringThunder Posted October 7, 2005 Members Posted October 7, 2005 you will destroy the speaker in your guitar amp if you crank it up to any reasonable volume with the bass.
Members lopchopstop Posted October 8, 2005 Author Members Posted October 8, 2005 Well that is good to know! still my practice amp is a piece of crap but definitely wont be using my bass with my tube...Still anyone have any opinions about my original post?
