So, Rowka....

You've had it a month now?

How's the action? Is it right down on the neck? Easy to finger-play?

Does the neck length bother you at all over a 4-hour gig?

Is it heavier than other basses you've played?

And lastly, how much did you pay for it?

The action is very good. I'm going to file the nut slots down a bit I think, but that's just me being overly picky. Down the neck it is just a tit hair higher than my other basses. The string spaceing feels a little wider over the pups than my 4's, but it measures the same. I think that's just me still getting used to a 5.

The neck length does not bother be in the least. I find I move a little more when playing in the first 5 frets, but it was very instinctive. Nothing I had to retrain myself for.

The geometry of the bass doesn't put the nut 5 inches further to the left. The way it sits on the strap the extra distance is split. A little oed out to the left at the nut and a little goes out to the right towards the bridge.

It's heavier than my Pedullas but lighter than my Alembic (which is only a 32" scale, btw). No fatigue issues at all.

If you want to know what they cost, it's best to talk to knucklehead. ;)
