There's definate improvement on holding notes and the notes themselves, but you need to get timing. Timing is the most important part of any instrument stringed or not.

But like I said, a definate improvement from the last clip. Keep practicing.;)

True right now the only toy I want is a Cort 966f 4 string bass.

An allso the ashdown 180 watt combo amp ).

Somehow, after I listend to your clip, it made it into my iTunes.

It made a really strange introduction to Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew".... which was kind of fun since I'm alittle drunk and I was like "huh???"

Say, since I just finished a clip of mine own (I just finished the mandolin, and mixed it right now) would it be alright if I shared it on this thread?

check out my playin ;)

Hey, you sound like your actually playing now!

Its getting better man.

You asked about being able to make songs. Everyone can come up with some kind of song. In your first post, you said you used F-G-G-D-B-C, and your clip seemed to follow that. So I recorded something using those notes in that order, and then just a dumb melody over the top. I panned each one to a different side so you can hear them both. Just to show that it doesn't really take ANYTHING to make a song!

Heh, my clip IS your clip! I played practically the same thing you did. I just played it cleaner and threw a dumb melody on top. Its no more difficult than buttering toast, really.

Do you practice with a metronome? If not, I'd suggest starting pretty soon. It'll help get your timing down a lot better.
