Sorry, to start seperate threads.....

My buddy Derrick Dixon (www.thederrickdixongroup.com) is working for Salwender International. He has asked me to help him demo a new product from a German luthier called "Stoll", and so I have this fretless ABG sitting in my room. The thing has an oversize body, kinda looking like a jumbo, jumbo cutaway, and sounds very much like an upright bass!

It's cool, but weird!

We are going to do a live Demo in the San Diego area this month at Acoustic City. More on this later. If I can get ahold of a digital camera, I'll post some pics!

It's got a piezo of some sort, but the thing is totally passive. NO tone controls on board at all!!!

It really doesn't need it, though because it's sound is perfect!
