Members james on bass Posted October 8, 2005 Members Posted October 8, 2005 My guitarist goes to the bar this afternoon to see where we are setting up this time around for tonight's gig, and there are posters all over for a different band. He asks the owners what is up? The wife says "oh yeah, I booked you guys for tonight". The husband says "well I booked the other band for tonight and actually wrote it down on the calendar". Now we play that bar next Saturday instead, after a Friday night elsewhere. They apologized many times and said they will serve us dinner and give us free drinks for next week's gig. Sucks. It's the holiday weekend, and I'm sure the crowd will be good tonight.
Members megadan Posted October 11, 2005 Members Posted October 11, 2005 Hey, at least you get free drinks and dinner... I'd go for that!

I never drink onstage, and rarely does the singer. I'm afraid the drummer & guitarist are going to get very pissed though. Those two manage to have a lot of brain farts after a couple too many beers. They also start yelling at each other on stage if the other screws up.
