CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted October 10, 2005 CMS Author Posted October 10, 2005 I've got the -CL and the PR410HLF. No I don't want to trade, but I would like to try an 810e for a while to see if I like the full-on grind more than the extra LF extension of the PR. Nope, they don't have a PR-610HLF....If I remember correctly they made the PR-210H, PR-410H, the PR-410HLF, and the PR-810H. Only the 410HLF is currently in production.
Members beam Posted October 10, 2005 Members Posted October 10, 2005 If you like the bergantino 6x10, check out the NV425 3x10/1x15 Supposed to have almost all the punch, with better low end

Members Rowka Posted October 10, 2005 Members Posted October 10, 2005 There's a used 810e for sale by me for $400. I'm tempted to try it out with the Traynor YBA-3 to see if it's a little tighter than my 2x15.
Members illidian Posted October 10, 2005 Members Posted October 10, 2005 I would help you getting rid of that cabinet, but shipping costs would be through the roof. I'll be the first one to ask: prices?

Members roners5 Posted October 10, 2005 Members Posted October 10, 2005 I'd be interested in the GBE 600 if you're looking to sell. You can contact me via email: gda108@psu.edu
Members der oxenrig Posted October 10, 2005 Members Posted October 10, 2005 Coming from the same guy who was complaining his Sunn 300T was too heavy. Why don't you try an SVT through the Yorkie 8x8 before you spring on a much heavier, expensive, and muddier sounding cab. Otherwise, try the Bergantino. It's supposed to sound much closer to the vintage 8x10s.

I like the size etc. easier to move than a 4x10, because of kickback wheels and loading into vehicle without doing a dead lift. BTW, I have my sights on a Honda Element in the not-to-distant future.
Members THB_bassman Posted October 10, 2005 Members Posted October 10, 2005 I hope you like it when you do the switch. About 10 years ago I had an SVT2pro and a V4-B cab (2x15). They sounded awesome. Even if I had a roadie, I still couldn't use it at most of our gigs today because they were so big. Most of the last 12 years I have gigged with nothing more than a 400RB and a 1x15 cab. We recently opened for The Farmers (formerly Beat Farmers) in San Diego, and they had a road crew that hauled all their stuff for them. That would be so cool! In the meantime I can get by with my Bass400+ which weighs 50 lbs in a rack case, one or two 1x15" cab at 70 lbs, and a good direct line out. It's not an SVT, but I don't really care. I am an old dude.
