Members TOONMAN
I went to see les claypool last night in st. louis MO. I got there about 2 hours early to try to get him to sign my basses I've built. well, I got to meet the man himself and he did sign one of my basses, the 6-string frettless. But even better he took my 4-string inside with him and played it for the sound check and brought it back out to me and gave me some pointers on how he likes his basses. He even said he would probably buy one of my basses one day. what an awesome feeling. although, I try not to get my hopes too high. the picture is him signing the 6-string. I'll have some more pics later, the floppy drive is damaged here at work.

Members chubrocker
Toonman, I live in Indy, MO too! You got some other pics of your basses to share? Maybe someday I'll have enough scrap around to buy a 4stringer from you. I dig custom made stuff! My amp, cab, and guitar are custom made. Time to get some custom bass gear too. Members TCEDDIA
How cool is that! I'm seeing him at Toad's in New Haven this coming Monday. Does he hang out after the show for autographs? How about pictures? Does he have a problem with the audience taking pics during the show?

Members __tony__renaud
I met him many years ago, probably a little bit before "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" came out. IIRC, this was in the afternoon before a show Primus had with Fishbone at the Palace Theater in New Haven, CT. We got to talking, and he asked me if I had any friends with a Carl Thonpson bass they wanted to sell. I didn't know anybody that had a CT bass. I'm somewhat surprised and disappointed that he didn't ask me if I had any pot.

Members rikshaw
my daughter ran into him at a mall here. he had a big hat and some really dark shades on. i apologized because she ran straight into him and could've tripped him on an escalator. i actually didnt recognize him until after he said 'no problem'.
