Members Gaui
Yeah, one time I loaned one of my IDs to a friend who was a year short to get into normal clubs in Iceland (its 20 year limit here). So I walked in and he decided to go in about 15 minutes later. So they checked his ID and said that a guy with that name was already inside, threw him out and went inside to the toilets where I was taking a leak and dragged me out and threw me out to the street. Members zenfascist
I was at this Overkill show at this club about a month ago with some friends, and everyone was going CRAZY (at a metal show too, go figure ). I'm not into that stuff so I just stood back and enjoyed the music while everyone else smashed into one another. Anyways, towards the end of the set I saw my friend Amy crowd-surfing and about 15 seconds later this bouncer comes and yanks her out of the crowd by the arm and escorts her outside. I thought that was bull{censored} because it isn't any more dangerous than people moshing in the pit which they don't have a problem with, so I don't see what's such a big deal. That's the only one I've got. I've found bouncers to be pretty cool actually, but there's bound to be a few douchebags in the bunch, especially in that line of work. Members Adrenochrome
No I don't hate bouncers. I was a bouncer during term-time when I was at college [only had to be 18]. In 19 years of going to gigs and 16 years of clubbing I've never seen a bouncer be violent towards anyone, whereas I have lost count of the number of drunk people [usually trendy types] kicking the {censored} out of people. Of course you're going to get a few bad people in any profession.
Members Crescent Seven
I found the bouncers in Dublin to be the biggest pricks on the planet.... In Denver, I saw 4 bouncers beat the living {censored} out of a mexican guy at a strip club...for falling asleep. The guy was just sitting there, and the littlest bouncer (go figure:rolleyes: ) walked up and punched him right in the nose. When the guy started flailing (like anybody would) the other 3 started in on him. THEN, when some guy said "I'm calling the cops, this is bull{censored}." one of them turned around, decided who said it, and punched some guy, who didn't say {censored}.The {censored}ed up part? The mexican guy got arrested for assault, even though 10 witnesses told the cops what happened. The guy that got socked in the face left before the cops came. That was bull{censored}.C7

Members Gfunkk44
St. Andrews Hall, I saw a concert with a bunch of friends.. to make a long story short, basically a girl I knew got someone thrown on top of her... this group of guys were trying to start {censored}.. so we walked away to see if she was okay.. this guy pusehd me from behind.. i went flying.. friend of mine, went to go confront him.... bouncers solution was to throw them on the street, and then cuss at me, my friend (not the one thrown out), and the girl who got knocked out. The only real reason this annoyed me, was because we were talking to them trying to sort the issue out, and all tha was on there behalf was {censored} you, shut the {censored} up or your leaving.. so we just said the hell with it and left. With bouncers and security it's like anything else... you have your good ones and band ones... there's alot of stupid people, and there's alot of good honest people.
