Members bassman1956 Posted October 16, 2005 Members Posted October 16, 2005 Mighty good gig last night! My thoughts: Joel, you guys are a lot tighter and more musical than when I heard you last! Sounds like you have put some serious effort into trying to gel. It shows. Jeff, this is the first I've heard YFC... For the way you downplay your abilities as a band, I expected far less. You folks really have something going! I was very impressed with the package, as a whole, you sound like a band with a lot more history than you have. Oh, and if Chrissy ever needs some companionship... Tony Vanlatte made it down with his guitarist Dave, in spite of sicknesses. Good to see you guys! You sort of snuck out... I'll return the shots next time Good evening out!
Members Thunderbroom Posted October 16, 2005 Members Posted October 16, 2005 Thanks for coming out Karl. I think our posts crossed (started my own thread). I don't downplay our abilities as a band, I downplay my abilities as a bassist. I don't think I did anything to change that last night. I'm just glad these folks let me play with them.

Members bassman1956 Posted October 17, 2005 Author Members Posted October 17, 2005 What I like is the idea yardwork prevented him from catching a gig several hours after sundown! Like he's out there raking leaves with a flashlight! j/k

But, you know, if you took that guy's head to the beltsander, he'd wind up looking pretty much like you. Go ahead, ask your wife, bet she agrees with me.

I'm guessing that his yard will be featured in Better Homes & Gardens soon.
