Members no-logic
I've been trying hard to find a good sounding setup at our practice space. I thinking about a nice tight and focused 1x15" cab and a good quality 1x10" cab. (i.e. Eden CX-110....I can get a good deal on a used one.)) I'd be pushing it with an Ampeg B2R. (350 watts) We practice kind of loud and I am wondering how this little Eden would fair paired with the 1x15". Any thoughts?
Members Emprov
If you're talking about the RX115, it'd probably sound pretty darn good. And as far as rehearsal volume goes, it'd probably work pretty darn well -- it'd be such a tight and defined tone that it'd cut right through the mix too! I probably wouldn't rely on the rig for any live applications but heck, for rehearsal, why not?

Ya know Dave....for some reason I have never practiced with an RX115 . I always had my Ampeg SVT-15EN over there. And it's a nice cab but not real tight sounding. I should have done this a long time ago. I wonder if that Eden will fart out on me though.
Members Emprov
I believe that BP7770 uses a CX-110 along side his GS112 and he plays a MIM JV with a mid boost circuit, (I think). I'm thinking that if there were any issues with it crapping out, he would have posted it by now. I seem to remember that he's not getting enough volume out of his rig but then again, we've both been there with the GS112's. BTW, I'm thinking about buying a Dr. Bass BL210/2260 setup. Been talking to our tax lawyer about it but it's looking more and more like we're gonna get stuck with it. I'm thinking that I'll let one of my J's go first to help fund the cabs but I'm not sure. bholder bought a 2260 and I'm kind of waiting for him to get his and get his review first. Who knows though, I almost took the plunge last Friday.

The best thing I have to compare against is an Avatar B210 with the burdizzos galaxy mod.
Members timmerz
Emprov, which Schroeder is it? And, if you let it go, how much?

It's the 1210 and I'm not sure that I'm going to sell it. I've been toying with the idea of building a second cab that'll give me more than enough volume or just buying another Schroeder. If I find a good deal on the right driver, I'll probably build one. The Dr. Bass stuff is pretty darn tempting though.
