Members B-Bottom
Stupid stupid alarm clock. Even though the problem was that it didn't go off, everytime I tell my one of my many supervisors it sounds like a lie. Ugh.

Members sludgebass69
Can you say backup alarm clock? I use my cell phone's alarm as a backup.
Members NeonVomit
Yeah, that's true. Sort of related: I only missed 3 lectures last year. 2 because I was unable to move due to being ill, and one because my alarm clock stopped in the middle of the night. The fact that I was on time and present for every single other lecture gave me plenty of goodness in their books though.

CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted October 21, 2005 CMS Author Share Posted October 21, 2005 I just got in about 20 min ago. But I did tell them I'd be late. I've got one of those Uber alarms that has a backup battery, and a small backup to that so you don't ever lose the time. It adjusts to DST automatically. Unfortunately if someone {censored}s with the tuner knob or turns the volume down, you're still {censored}ed. And I'm perfectly capable of sleeping through the alarm and the radio if tired enough. Members bassman1956
I'm down to 1 alarm clock. It's still usually hard to get moving, but at least I hear it. For a while I had 2 or 3 alarms, plus someone calling me in the mornings.

You'll have to replace this clock before 2007 though. Congress has changed the DST rules to add an extra week on both ends. Your clock could make you an hour early/late for a whole week if you aren't careful.
