Had fun last nite. The singer couldn't make it so the g*tarists & I shared the vox duty.

 

The CS has a lot more clean punch than the 68 or the 4003's I've played. It doesn't have as much of that chainsaw quality, but it's there nonetheless. It has a very focused sound, very hard to overdrive. The neck is more like a U Pbass or Steinberger shape. The fretboard radius is very wide (like the Steinberger) but the neck is chunkier than other Rics. I got used to playing with the horseshoes in quite easily. I was afraid I'd have to take them off, but it seems I won't have to. I'm definitely going to gig this bass. :thu:
