I'm not talking about hair metal, more contempory metal. Is there anybody else that plays in a metal band i.e. metalcore, hardcore, death metal anything? I was just wondering. I play an Epi Thunderbird, which got taken apart a few threads down... . Many of the posters here are very familiar with metal and all its sub-genre "*"core thangs. I play a BC Rich Trans Red Beast, amp is the Carvin R1000, with the 4x10 cab and the 18 cab. I'm waiting on my Budda Phatbass pedal to come in. We have been compared to Pantera, Mastodon, and Killswitch... Im not sure about any of that but who really cares anyway, we play because we love it. We're from Cullman, AL anyone else close? I reserve the metal for: -on my way up snowboarding -during snowboarding -on my way to work -at work, if I feel like my nearest adjacent cubicles need to be thrashed a bit -when my wife is talking and wont shut the {censored} up.
