Members Jonny Five
that is the question... Going for an avatar 410. Should i spend the extra 50 bucks for the neo, or just go for the delta? I've heard the neo has better response at lower frequencies. Please help! Members L-1329
Speaking solely about their 210's, to my ears the delta had a deeper, fuller low end than the neo. I like the neo sound in a lound band mix though, but the lows just don't sound as controlled as the delta. May mean nothing, as the 410's might be totally different. If you are decided on Avatar, you could return one if it's not what you are looking for and pick up the other.

Members burdizzos
85 pounds for the Delta and 65 pounds for the Neo. You'll give up some low end witht he Neos, but they will be louder. Neither cab is great for B-string stuff. Personally, I'd go for the 75 pound B212.

Members Crackle
I don't have any experience with Avatar's 410s, but I do with their 210s: I have had a B210 Delta for almost 3 years. It has problems bottoming out at the volumes I play at (it supposedly handles 750 watts RMS -- but dare I say not in bass frequencies), making it nearly unusable with a 5-string. Its low-end response is also weak IMO. I ultimately upgraded to the B210 Neo. The Neo speakers have a greater X-max, meaning that they travel further than the Deltas and they have a much better bass reponse IMO. This 210 cab has no problem handling a DETUNED 5-string Stringray at high volume. Plus it weighs in at 11 pounds less than the Delta.
