Really? I'll have to tell my belly to stop watching that show when I'm not looking. Personally, I've never seen it. But I hear it's funny.

Almost Instant Quesadillas

Onion

Garlic

Parsley

Black Pepper

2 cans Canned chunk chicken packed in water

Picante sauce

Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)

Flour Tortillas

Slice & chop an onion to get a double handful of bits. Frozen diced onion is fine, too.

Add some vegetable oil to a skillet.

Toss in the onions, cook over low heat until they are golden. Add in the garlic - be generous.

Dump in two medium cans of chunk chicken (packed in water)

Cover and cook on low until it's all very hot & steamy. You can drain it & set it aside in another pan, or just use a second skillet for the next step.

Set skillet on burner set to LOW.

Take the onion+chicken mix from the first step, and load it into a tortilla shell. Add the picante sauce, and a generous amount of cheese. Lay it flat in the hot skillet, let the cheese melt some, about 1.5-2 minutes - don't have the heat too high.

Fold the tortilla in half and flip it in the skillet. Cheese the top, take it off when the bottom side is lightly browned.

Add peppers, etc inside if you like - ham or bacon bits are also good. You can sub lunchmeats or hamburger for the chicken if you like. Cilantro is also good as an extra spice.

Feeds three hungry bandmates.

I like almost every food available except for traditional icelandic dishes, sheep heads, shark, dried fish and ram balls are just bad.

Shark can be quite tasty..with a bit of lime butter..as long as you remove all the buckshot!!!....and its not overcooked or too dry....

Dried fish/squid etc make great bar snacks to accompany tasty beers...10x better than pretzels......ram balls and sheep head....uh the inner puppet will pass on...but lobster brains, oysters, bbq'ed eel...etc ...pretty well eat anything. Great topic btw....I think this ones gonna last....

The icelandic method is hanging it up for a few months, til it begins to rot a bit and is dried, then you eat it along with strong schnapps.
