Members L-1329 Posted November 11, 2005 Members Posted November 11, 2005 Now I have seen some stupid ads but this kid wins the prize. Enjoy! Seeking Guitarist that's wouldn't mind switching to Bassist --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Reply to: comm-110445866@craigslist.orgDate: 2005-11-11, 4:16AM CST I'm 24. I play guitar, sing, and write songs. I intend to form a band. And have that be my full time job. I'd like to have a bassist, keys, and drummer. For the bass position, I'm hoping to find a guitarist that is willing to switch to being a bassist. I like the way a guitarist would approach playing bass. The sound I'm going needs the bass section to be big. No slapping or extremely long bass solos. A musician who is more concerned about making really good songs, than anything else. I don't think influences mean that much, but here's some folks i listen to: Leadbelly Bob Dylan Neil Young Pink Floyd Old Blues records Portishead Johnny Cash Led Zeppelin The Flaming LIps no -- it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Members sultan417 Posted November 11, 2005 Members Posted November 11, 2005 Well, im a bassist who switched to guitar and my approach to guitar is very unique because of my years playing bass. I dont see it sounding that good, but a guitarists approch to bass would be unique.

I think he wants a real bassist then... Many guitarists just start playing solos as soon as they pick up a bass...
