Members sunburstbasser Posted November 15, 2005 Members Posted November 15, 2005 I graduated about a year and a half ago. I immediately applied at Cabela's, which is like Wal-Mart but only guns. I didn't get the job though. Life after high school is...different.
Members mounds Posted November 15, 2005 Members Posted November 15, 2005 I graduated in May of 2002. started working as a mechanic out of HS, taking classes at UNM, and now I work for a credit reporting firm as IT/network management and go to school full time still

Members zenfascist Posted November 17, 2005 Members Posted November 17, 2005 A word of advice: don't feel obligated to choose a career until you really know what you want to do. Then go from there. I'd hate to see someone wake up in their mid-40s thinking, "what the hell have I done with my life?" because they felt pressed to make a career choice.
Members Thumper Posted November 17, 2005 Members Posted November 17, 2005 Congratulations! 'Walmart without guns?' That's like a day without beer.

Different distribution. Their Christmas holidays serve as summer holidays as well, they re-start in Febuary I think.
