Members willsellout Posted November 20, 2005 Members Posted November 20, 2005 Hey I have a GK 800 RB from about 209 years ago. The head rocks, but when I turn the knobs, I hear scratchy sounds. How do I get rid of those scratchy sounds when I turn the knobs? Is there something I can do or do I have to take it to a tech to have cleaned? Thanks! Dan
Members bassplayinguy Posted November 20, 2005 Members Posted November 20, 2005 try some electical cleaner, spray it into the pots, but only use a bit, then use a good dielectric safe lubricant like WD40 on them... but just a bit, so they turn smooth

Heaven help you if you get it on any electrical connections. Billy-B
