Here's the deal:

I banned your newest login. Why? You're already on the "banned" list (and I have not been able to track down who originally banned you and why, although I have not given up on that yet). And the rules state you're not supposed to have more than one longin... having more than one account, in and of itself, is grounds for banning.

When someone is banned for the first time, most admins / moderators might be inclined to give you a "second chance" (depending on the nature and severity of the original rules violation) IF you send the mod / admin a PM or email stating your apology for the rules violation that got you banned for, and a promise to "behave" in the future. After reinstatement, you'll be on "probation", and any further rules violations will result in immediate and permament banning without the possibility of reinstatement.

IOW, if you're banned, and you try to "get around it" by just creating new accounts, we'll just keep banning those accounts too. And if we have to do it more than once or twice, we start taking other steps, such as banning your IP...

So the next step is up to you. Create yet another account and I'll ban your IP. If you want to take the other option, drop me a PM or email and we can discuss it and we can see where that leads. With option 1, you'll be gone for good... with option 2, you have a chance...

Choose wisely. :)

if you have a problem with a mod's actions, you aren't supposed to air your issues in public. Personally, I considered sending a pm but figured it would be a complete waste of time. I decided my best course of action would be to help this thread die as soon as it could by not posting in it.

*sigh*

In the mod's defense, he sure didn't seem to be getting the message through the usual channels, even after several of us told him to just talk to the mods rather than create new ids.

Well, it's still unclassy to talk about stuff like this over the board.

warning from us or not.

Honestly, I'm always amazed at how many boards don't moderate openly...

Every board I've moderated, we do so openly so that people know what behavior is considered over the line, so that it's clear to everyone where the line is...

It also eliminates appearance of secret bias as well as the ever annoying "where is that thread from yesterday" 5 minute waste of time search...
