i've had mine for almost 2 years now, i love it. does NOT get noticed by the cops. knock on wood of course, but i've done some serious speeding literally in front of cops and i've yet to be pulled over. my best moment was merging across two lanes and accelerating above 80mph on the freeway, with a bike cop behind me. still can't believe he didn't pull me over, after following me for about 1/2 a mile even.

 

i have a wagon though, i think that's the main reason i don't get hassled. carries all my gear while flying under the radar.

If you like the WRX but don't want to carry a sign that says 'ticket me, I'm a crazy rich kid' go look at Saab's version of the same car. A lot more 'adult' looking and I hear Saab can't give them away so you might be able to get a great deal on one. Plus Saab dealers generally like their customers so you'll be treated well. I won't buy them anymore since they stopped making the real 900's but that's just me.
