I have definitly found my tone, that's for sure! My picky ass is now just about satisfied. It sounds really good through my Ampeg PR410HLF cab, low end for days, clarity, mids, highs, I got the full package now. The other band members had immediate comments saying it sounds like the other Ampeg SVT3 PRO I used to have only "more of it". It seems to be more "in your face".

Anyway, I downloaded the manual off of Eden's website but it doesn't really say much other than how to tweak the EQ and such. I need to know how to do the "bridged @ 8ohms" capability, I don't know how to configure the cabs if I want to use more than one, bi-amp mode, stereo mode and all that.

Anyone have any info that I could use on this?

Thanks!

:D

LOL, it was first an Ampeg SVT3PRO which got traded towards a Genz Benz GBE600 which I didn't really care for that I sold to another forumite to pay some unexpected bills. I haven't had anything in between for a little while until now.

I'm stoked, it sounds freakin' BADASS.....

Congrats...the WT800 is one awesome amp...

I currently use an XLT115 and an XLT410. They are each 4 ohm cabinets. I had to order these specially through my local Eden dealer. I run them parallell.

What are your cabinets and their ohms?

Eden is the {censored}. I fought long and hard to not go to an Eden amp, mainly because practically everyone in our genre uses them......then I caved.

I'm never going back to anything else. Every Eden amp I've tried (about 4 different models) has been simply perfect. I run the EQ totally flat.

:thu:

Oh, and the customer service is rediculously good.

I have an Ampeg PR410HLF 4 ohms only. Well, also a Genz Benz 610 cab that is 6 ohms but I don't use it.

Man... I had to laugh when I saw this thread. I just ordered an Eden WT800B on Tuesday.

I've been a hardcore Ampeg SVT guy, but due to increased gigging, I decided to go with something a little more road ready. Its gonna break my heart to part ways with my old SVT, but I look forward to pumpin that Eden through the 8x10 cab.

TYG and THX, how much are you guys forking over for those 800's?

I've been looking at the SWR SM900 and the Eden WT800 side by side foir a few weeks now, and am curious about what kind of costs we are talking about here?

A used SM900 can be had for about $750 to $1100 nowadays, depending on where you look and how quick with the cash you are....how about the Edens?

Another question just occurred to me:

Can the Edens be run bridged at 4 ohms?
