Members Trento54 Posted November 28, 2005 Members Posted November 28, 2005 hey guys i want to get this Bartolini NTMB - 3 Band Preamps (Treble, Mid and Bass, Boost and Cut) 2.4 A/P - Click here for layout diagram 1 Pickup - 3 knob configuration Controls: - Volume (w/Active-Passive Push-Pull) - Mid (w/push/pull freq selector)- Treble/Bass Stack SO does that mean that the bass/treble is on the same pot and you can jsut push it up or down to chose bass or treble?and whats the freq selctor?i have only got for holes routed out for the pots for my old bass so i dotn want to be drilling in any more so is this a good preamp? thanks guys
Members sunburstbasser Posted November 28, 2005 Members Posted November 28, 2005 Bartolini doesn't make anything bad, it just isn't always what people want. Thats supposed to be a great preamp. The Frequency selector will change the center frequency the midrange controls, giving you a few more options to shape your sound. Stacked bass/treble means that it is a dual-pot. The top half is one, and there is another, wider pot directly beneath it for the bass side. Its basically two regular pots mounted vertically.
