Members bholder Posted December 12, 2005 Members Posted December 12, 2005 Is it a set screw type? If so, put a drop of threadlock or similar (from the hw store) on the screw before tightening it.

If it comes off again I'll try that, but I'm hoping the will fix it.
Members LanEvo Posted December 13, 2005 Members Posted December 13, 2005 Stop playing with your knob so much otherwise it will fall off! Seriously, if the screw keeps backing out there's a simple solution. Just go to your local hardware store and buy LocTite BLUE. Put drop of LocTite on the tip of the screw before you set it and it will stay put. Emre

I hope the tape will work but I might have to use something like it if it doesn't.

Members Chicken Monkey Posted December 13, 2005 Members Posted December 13, 2005 If this is a set-screw attaching to a pot shaft, I have the same problem on my tele. I just put an eyeglass screwdriver in the case in case it happens when I'm away from the toolbox. Insert shaft/screw/toolbox joke here.
