Members Conformer Posted December 13, 2005 Members Posted December 13, 2005 I got my MIM Jazz today nice artic white color plays good and all. Its used I payed $255 for it. I went to the Fender site too see what year it was and found something odd. Seems like its a 93-94 J Bass but the serial number index has MN3+5 digits. Mine is MN3+6digits. I thought all Mexican basses had just 5 digits and now I am curious? Did any of them have 6 or more?

Members The Unknown Posted December 13, 2005 Members Posted December 13, 2005 My 2000 MIM fretless J has a 6 digit serial number after the obligatory "MZ0" thing (which means it's made in 2000). I hope it helps !
