Tune Guitar Maniac Bass Guitars?

Anyone have any experience with this brand (Tune Guitar Maniac - Japanese)? I have read some fairly good reviews for them and they certainly make some nice looking guitars for the money. I think Sam Ash handles some of them.

I'm very intrested in knowing if there are other dealers here in the USA. These are apparently not the same Tune basses that are made in Korea. I have tried to e-mail the company using any e-mail addresses I could find for them but my e-mails have been returned as undeliverable.

Thanks for the info. I'll check.

If anyone else has any info on Tune basses, please let me know. Anything helpful will be greatly appreciated.

The models Sam Ash carries are Korean. They are not related to the Japanese Tune Bass. I have one and went through the whole debate about these basses over at Talkbass. They are very nice basses and are made well. They are comparable build wise to a Skyline and Tribute. Very versatile and flexible sounding. Nice ash body with a 4-piece maple neck. Rosewood fretboard and brass nut. Three band eq with a mid frequncy adjustment pot on the preamp PCB board. I really like it and is my main player.

Now those are the Japanese Tune's. Very nice. I would really like to play one of those to see how they compare.

That's what I was afraid of - the ones at Sam Ash being the Korean Tune's. Is there anyone in the USA handling the Japanese Tune's?

They really are stunning looking basses.

Just so I understand you correctly, are you saying you have one of the Korean ones or the Japanese one?

TIA,

I have the Korean one. The Japanese ones are no longer being sold through a dealer here in the US I think. You would have to find a used one on the 'Bay or somewhere else if you want one. The Japanese website is not real specific or clear on those matters.
