Members jrkirkish Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 Found this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/SX-Electric-Guitar-BLACK_W0QQitemZ7374609966 Looks like somebody took an SX j and made it look like it was designed with an ugly stick. Look at this thing!: It looks like it tries so hard. Poor little thing. Makes me want to put it out of it's misery.
Members sheepdog Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 and the starting bid is more expensive than a brand new (non-{censored}ed up) SX Jazz WTF?
Members B-Bottom Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 i think it's kind of cool looking actually
Members sunburstbasser Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 So many good ideas done so badly.
Members g.ghost Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 How come crappy used guitars and basses that you see for sale at pawn shops etc are always missing strings ? What happens to the strings ? Do they rot off or fall off by themselves ? WTF !
Members phildogger Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 I kinda like it.... Don't shoot! Don't shoot!
Members klocwerk Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 I actually kinda dig what he did to the headstock! The body really does look dumb though.
Members s4001 Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 Some people are natural born artists. Some people are a menace to society with a saw in their hands.

I always assume the thing was so unloved and uncared for that the owner couldn't be bothered to dig some old strings out of wherever and slap them on... not a big buying enticement.

I've often wondered this myself.... almost as much as "why dont they put new strings on that thing....." anywho.... i DO like what the guy did to the headstock.... the body could have been done a lot better though....
Members g.ghost Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 Leaving off strings when you want to sell a bass is like trying to sell a car and not bothering to include the wheels. It's a small thing but it's kind of important.
Members Sunken Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 And here I was, thinking this thread might be about a Filter album.
Members Low Tone Posted December 14, 2005 Members Posted December 14, 2005 It would have been a lot cooler if they had used a P bass instead. I'll bet it neck dives like a mother{censored}er.
