Should i take it? The guy just emailed me back and answered all my questions (2 hour turnaround!). He said since it had already been registered, I cannot get free tech support and I don't get the discount on upgrades, But I don't really care about that right now. Dan

Yes, but you will eventually. Not being able to upgrade (like when you change OS, for example) is a huge pain. Thangs always change.

I got Acid 2.0 with the DJ loops package for free ($50 with a $50 mail in rebate) from Staples about 5 years ago. Acid 4.0 eliminated the seperate loop CDs and has a broader range of capabilities, or so I've heard/read. I'd check it out if I were you.
