Members SA Rios Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 There's still time! Just bury the hooker in the woods and get back home before she does.

Members ivanthetrble Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 Originally posted by willsellout Not bought..but going to...{censored}.Dan Well for God's sake go ahead and buy it. Remember, it is always easier to ask for forgiveness than premission.
Members bpocall Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 So what's she gonna be killing you for?
Members willsellout Posted December 29, 2005 Author Members Posted December 29, 2005 I talked to Pete today and he is willing to give me a break on a new one since the last one didn't work out. This time I will be going with my original pick..the Draken. Not for sure yet but I think I am going to broach the subject when she gets home....{censored}.

The Draken is probably my fave Hanewinckel body style! Are you going into debt to buy it?

Are you going into debt to buy it? Ummm...no...well maybe a little bit, but we are still paying off all of our bills and this won't affect that. I will end up probably 5-700.00 in debt for this particular bass once the G&L is sold. Dan

No, man no!!! Just buy it... And then tell her about it on your way home with the axe so she can get the muderous rage out of her system before you get there.

Members Thumper Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 You're right. Your wife will probably kill you. It will be worth it. Sweet bass
Members monark Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 That's nice. Don't think twice, just buy it. It looks like it'd be worth the consequences...
Members sunburstbasser Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 Cool! Will it to me! Or hide it under the bed/in a closet for 2 years.

Bahahaha, I had a buddy who did that with a Kawasaki dirt bike. Bought it and hid it in a friends garage for 3+ years and then sold it. Always wondered how he explained to his wife why he was all covered with drit and mud and smelled like gas.
Members L-1329 Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 Originally posted by willsellout Those look like just killer basses, I would love to own one of his instruments someday. You have to do it, and of course put in a good review of it for us to g.a.s. over. If I ever have a builder make me a bass I have already decided on Hanewinkel. Good luck!

Buying the bass is supposed to be a good thing remember?
Members bbl Posted December 29, 2005 Members Posted December 29, 2005 If she really loved you, she'd be happy for you... ... and then kill you for selling the G&L!
Members theoriz Posted December 30, 2005 Members Posted December 30, 2005 Since your mind is set, just go for it!
Members willsellout Posted December 30, 2005 Author Members Posted December 30, 2005 Nothing is set yet. I still have to convince the wifey..
Members whoneedstherapy Posted December 30, 2005 Members Posted December 30, 2005 you just need to tell her how you owning this fine piece of equipment will make it easier for you to afford something very nice for her
