Members james on bass Posted January 1, 2006 Members Posted January 1, 2006 ...the price of admission (reserved seating) to see Rush at Maple Leaf Gardens on March 6 1986. I was reorganizing the basement today and started leafing through some of my old memorabilia and came across my ticket stub.

Members Billystrat Posted January 1, 2006 Members Posted January 1, 2006 $160 for U2? I had a buddy pay $250 in NJ to see them. Way too much for me. I didn't even stay awake the whole time for the Free View U2 Concert Direct TV had on though.

I went, "only paid 49.59 each" U2 is one of the few bands out there that's worth that much (to me). Kanye West opened too, which made for a fun suprise.
Members pbass_groovin Posted January 2, 2006 Members Posted January 2, 2006 paid $160 for U2 with Damian Marley as the opener on the lower level. it was ok
Members Crescent Seven Posted January 2, 2006 Members Posted January 2, 2006 I don't go to big name concerts anymore. When you can buy every single recorded version of every single song a band has written in it's career, including B-sides, compilations and live stuff, for less than the price of 1 concert ticket, you shouldn't buy the ticket.
