What are the best deals for buying lots of CDs?

I'm looking to pick up a large number of CDs. Besides BMG Music's 12 for 1 deal, which including shipping works out to something like $40 for 12 CDs, are there any other deals that could compare?

It's true sometimes you get lucky, though the time it takes to locate specific CDs is not worth it to me. I want to be able to add 12 CDs that I want to my cart and be done with it (for example).

i signed up at yourmusic.com over a year ago.

you build a queue of cds that you like and they send you one a month for $5.99 including shipping (or more if you like). it has come in handy for christmas 2 years in a row now. i haven't had any luck at the pawn shops and ebay is usually too pricey for the stuff that i'm looking for.

I buy most of my cds in a pawnshop/used rocord store, get some good prices and extra discount if I buy more then 2 at once.

I know this isn't exactly the cheap CD thing you're looking for... I used to get a lot of indy stuff from mp3.com. Then they disbanded. Some of the groups I can no longer find at all, except in outdated page references, and no CD's of theirs. Nuts.

half.com is great as is ebay, especially if you find one seller who happens to have a lot of the music you are looking for, who also offers combined shipping for multiple items. It's not as unlikely as it may sound. :)

Sometimes on ebay. I bought two on there. Not sure if they are copies or not, if they are then good ones. I paid 99 cents for one but had to pay $4.50 shipping.
