Best Cab?

So being a guitarist whos funding my bassist Rig i need your help

 

I have a Gallien-Krueger 400RB-3 head and i need a 4 ohm cab

(Im on a major budget)

 

Choices:

Behringer BB410

Ashdown 410

Peavey 415, it a pa cab but it used and cheap and should hold lows well?

 

Any other suggestions?

Out of those three, i'd go with the Ashdown, since it's probably the best out of the three. Have you considered Avatar as well?

+1 for the ashdown. But the options are very limited IMO. Lot's of nice cabs out there.

Hell, I haven't heard the Ashdown and I'd still recommend it out of those. Even better would be the Avatar that The Ox mentioned.

 

I can't find anything on a "Peavey 415" cabinet; if it's four 15" woofers, give up now, because you're not going to haul it anywhere. Assuming that's just a model number, remember that PA speakers are full-range, whereas most bassists want little to no horn on their cabinet. PA speakers are more likely not to let you attenuate it, either.

I actullay use a 212 avatar cab so i might have to look into those, also the Peavey PA cab is 4 15 inchers with no horn

i think he means that he uses a guitar 2x12 for himself, but if i was you i would get an avatar 212 and 210

I'm guessing that's the Ashdown MAG 410, in which case I would emphatically say go with the Peavey
