OT - Computer Issue

Something strange is happening when I shut my computer off. Or maybe its when I log back on, but anyway, I've been getting this little text file on my desktop when I turn my computer back on. The file name is just "Shutdown". The first time I saw this pop up, it had nothing in it, but when I restarted my comp earlier today, the file came back( I deleted the first one) and it was filled with what seems like technical jargon that I don't fully understand.

Do you think it could be a problem, or some some wierd clitch

Done a virus scan lately? googling parts of that comes to a lot of european (german/dutch) forums. Most of which, seemed to be here: http://support.magix.net/boards/magix/index.php

 

So, if your german and/or dutch are up to par, wade through some of that. I didn't see any solutions, but I'm a bit rusty.

 

I'd start the search with an update and scan through your antivirus though.

Thanks, that helps out a lot. This started happening after I installed my new recording software, Magix Music Studio 10. I'm now guessing it has something to do with that.

I'm still gonna run a virus check, too.

 

Ace Of Bass - Yeah, I do the website for my band, and I'm the only one who sets up stuff like myspace, and deals with booking. So that is where I toss all the {censored} - pics, song ideas, contracts, webpage backups...all with no organization what-so-ever:thu:
