Members Godot Posted January 18, 2006 Members Posted January 18, 2006 I've got an SX bass on the way, and I'm wondering if playing it through my guitar POD would be a bad idea. I've heard that playing bass through a guitar amp is a good way to convince your wife that you need new speakers but what about a POD->headphones setup?

Members Cortfan Posted January 19, 2006 Members Posted January 19, 2006 I have played my bass thru my POD 2.0 (with or without headphones) for the last 3 years. I also use my POD live at every gig thru the Bose PAS.
Members mrmikers Posted January 19, 2006 Members Posted January 19, 2006 The POD's tweed blues, pod clean, and tube preamp can all work well for bass.
Members rx jr. Posted January 19, 2006 Members Posted January 19, 2006 i play bass through my behringer v-amp2 for guitar. works fine.
Members BigPigPeaches Posted January 19, 2006 Members Posted January 19, 2006 Doug Pinnick uses one for the high ends in his rig. Unfortunately, he also uses about 20 other pieces of arcane gear wired up in a totally random fashion.
