I know this is just a parody, but liberals and conservatives are both needed to balance everything out. Whenever you have too much of one or the other, you end up with problems. I believe it was Churchill who said, "Show me a young man who is conservative and I'll show you a man with no heart. Show me an old man who is liberal and I'll show you a man with no brain."

I used to be fiercely conservative until I stopped arguing with liberals. Then I found out I was more centered than I thought.
