Members Hotblack Posted January 27, 2006 Members Posted January 27, 2006 The big guy: Nicolai Valuev won. Boxing fans were the real loosers.
Members lug Posted January 27, 2006 Members Posted January 27, 2006 Looks like someone took after Bigfoot with a Norelco razor!

Any of them female? I like loose females! Seriously, why do you think the fans lost out? I haven't read much about the guy, but I don't see why there'd be a problem having a really big guy in the ring. The division is supposed to be unlimited, isn't it?

John Ruiz isn't a bad boxer, but he's not exactly great either. He was a title holder but has been beat by guys like a way past his prime Mike Tyson and also by Roy Jones. The heavyweight division is so weak right now. Seems like once Lennox left there were no more fights, or at least no more fights that people cared about. Anyway, we'll see what happens with this guy. Anytime there's been super huge dudes in the heavyweight division the first guy to take them past 5 or 6 rounds seems to knock them out.

Members hobobot009 Posted January 28, 2006 Members Posted January 28, 2006 No fair, I don't see how the opponent could keep it above the belt:freak:
Members roger hart Posted January 28, 2006 Members Posted January 28, 2006 holy cow! I know nothing about that guy but it looks like he has that disease that Andre the Giant had. I forget the name of the disease but it was some pituitary condition and is eventually fatal, as it was for Andre. The tell tale signs are the shape of the head and those brows. Side note: I used to love to box in my younger days. It was my "guilty pleasure". I call it that because it never sat well with my nature which is gentle one. Didn't sit well with my ethic either but God help me, I loved it. Until I get my butt kicked to much that is.
