Members Craken Posted February 2, 2006 Members Posted February 2, 2006 Im after some pumpin' fretless bass. Which one would you recommend?
Members LO_RYDER Posted February 3, 2006 Members Posted February 3, 2006 The first is always the best. thats when most artists do some of their best work.
Members Jazz Ad Posted February 3, 2006 Members Posted February 3, 2006 In his solo albums, Bona sings a lot more than he plays. He's an excellent songwriter and singer anyway.
Members Craken Posted February 3, 2006 Author Members Posted February 3, 2006 How about other albums he plays on? I think his fretless playing is unbelievable. Im tempted by Mike Sterns new album.
Members nofret Posted February 3, 2006 Members Posted February 3, 2006 I agree his first solo CD is the best. You might also check out his work with the Zawinul Syndicate on My People and World Tour. If you can find it, he played the {censored} out of Bright Size Life on a Pat Metheny Austin City Limits concert.
