Cartoons anymore suck. I mean they don't even show looney tunes on saturday morning anymore. it's all this weird Japanese crap that revolves around playing cards. WTF happend to Anvils falling on peoples heads for gods sake?

Superfriends is still on Cartoon Network around 8:30PM MST... Watching it now, it's sorta gay & I think that's where Ron Smeigel got the idea for Ace & Gary. He-Man is the same way.

My favorites when I was a kid were Looney Tunes, Dungeons & Dragons, GI Joe, and Transformers.

Did you know that Jack Kirby is buried in the same graveyard as Ron Goldman?
My eye doctor was actually friends with the kirby's and would often fly out to CA to stay with them. He knew that I was big into comics so he would tell me all kinds of stories about jack. Very cool!!! :thu:

The year 1994: From out of space comes a runaway
planet, hurtling between the Earth and the Moon,
unleashing cosmic destruction. Man's civilization is
cast in ruin.

Two thousand years later, Earth is reborn...

A strange new world rises from the old: a world of
savagery, super science, and sorcery. But one man
bursts his bonds to fight for justice! With his companions
Ookla the Mok and Princess Ariel, he pits his strength,
his courage, and his fabulous Sunsword against the
forces of evil.

He is Thundarr, the Barbarian!

Earth worm Jim
The Tick

These two didn't come out until I was a teenager, but if I found a dvd set of either I'd buy it on the spot...

Edit: oh yeah... Forgot it was supposed to be about old school cartoons.

I also love Masters of the Universe, The OLD Looney Toons, and a cartoon by the name of M.A.S.K. anyone remember this one? they had cars that flew, Semi-trucks with cannons that came out of the sleeper hehe it was AWESOME...cant find it ANYWHERE any more, I also love tom and jerry, which is weird, cuz I hated it as a kid, now its one of my faves
