Members SteveyDevey Posted February 11, 2006 Members Posted February 11, 2006 I've never seen another one of these. The seller's got some major drug issues if they think someone's going to pay that much for a no-name, ugly little thing like my wonderful Gremlin! http://cgi.ebay.com/GREMLIN-BASS-USED-IN-STUDIO-EXCELLENT-4-BEGINNER_W0QQitemZ7387942357QQcategoryZ4713QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I'm glad to see that mine has a sibling, and if it was dirt cheap, I'd probably even buy it!
Members Thumper Posted February 11, 2006 Members Posted February 11, 2006 Hmmm... I wonder how the Gremlin would stack up against an MTD Grendel? Looks like a cool little bass, tho'.

It is a cool little monster. It's a shortscale Pbass clone from india. I got it as a gift for my 18th birthday (one of the only things I've ever asked for), because I had been starting to play guitar, but not really liking it too much. I had been trying to play it like a bass, without even knowing what a bass was! A friend handed it to me to play with, and I fell in love with the feeling of a bass in my hands. He was selling it, and I convinced my parents to buy it from him. It lives here at my girlfriend's house, because it's pretty compact. I still play it often, but haven't recorded it. I really should, too. It sounds huge and thumpy.
