Members bholder Posted January 30, 2007 Members Posted January 30, 2007 I see that all of the new and most of the used PX4Ds for sale are pictured as grey. I've seen a few used on ebay, including one I just won, in blue. Does anyone know if there's any functional difference between the blue and the grey versions? Time for a civil war, perhaps?
Members groutt Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 Bump, because enquiring minds want to know.
Members Rowka Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 The gray one is a PX4D (for guitar and bass) The blue one is a PX4 (guitar only) the green one is a PX4A (acoustic guitar) I don't know what the red or white ones are.
Members fretless Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 the red one is the fastest .
Members birdboy7007 Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 the red one is the fastest . And is the PX4B - The bass model Too bad though, I hear black sounds the best

So I bought what is supposed to be a PX4D, but it's blue. I'm not sure what to make of that, I guess I'll see when it arrives.
Members fretless Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 I thought the blue one is the old guitar version .
Members fretless Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 And is the PX4B - The bass model Too bad though, I hear black sounds the best doubt it . The PX4B sounds simply stunning , just ask lug , better yet maybe lug will get the urge to lay waste to the forum and post a clip m/
Members lug Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 I thought the blue one is the old guitar version . Yup, blue for guitar, red for bass. The PX3's were the same way.

Members Apendecto Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 Too bad. I love my Red Bass One...whatever the name is. (Thanks WillSellOut!) Yo.
Members johnnybassman Posted January 31, 2007 Members Posted January 31, 2007 The PX series are sweet. I still use my PX3B as a preamp. I've been meaning to pick up the PX4B, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Members bholder Posted January 31, 2007 Author Members Posted January 31, 2007 I asked the seller, he admitted the error and offered me the full refund, so that's good. I still have to go find another one, though, what a pain in the ass.
