I don't see myself gigging with this rig for a while, maybe never, so it will pretty much be for recording.

 

If you don't need the volume, just the tone, i'd say go for it!

You can even spend all your evening thinkering and modding the hell out of the little bugger!

Even in a live situation, the amp would only need to be loud enough for stage volume anyway, the rest would be handled by the PA.

I bought one last thursday and I really dig it. I've heard a lot of people say how loud it is and to be honest I didn't really believe them. But after playing it awhile I completly agree. Don't let the 5 watt thing fool you. You could easily play one and be heard over a drummer.

I have mine running through my 4x10 bass cab and I am suprised how good it sounds. It seems to take effects really well too.

I've run my bass through it as well and besides losing some low end it really doesn't sound that bad. For $100 it's a great buy.

the thing that I really dig about it is how simple the thing is.
