Members willbill0587 Posted March 19, 2007 Members Posted March 19, 2007 It was a sort of practice gig? I dunno, we got told to come and have a quick play. We arrived and I took my P bass as always. I plugged in, into a Line6 head thing, it was red, I think thats the guitar one no? Anyway, the dude said it sounded really good and it was a great bass amp. It was sittin on top of the '1200w' Behringer cab with aluminium cones. Sounded like {censored}. I can now verify all of those comments 'Stay away from Behringer'! What a piece of s#it!
Members tkachuk07 Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 I have no opinion on the behringer cab. If you played through a line 6 guitar amp though that's not a fair review. Any bass cab would sound like crap.
Members Jim-Bass Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 yeah - that's a comparison of extremes. I do have a 90W Behringer practice amp, only becuase they're so darn cheap!
Members JeffBass Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 My BX300 never lets me down and the tone is killer. 30w into a single 10" speaker and it cranks.
Members jannda Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 Behringer amps aren't that bad I have a BX 4500 450watts and It sounds pretty good bur there cabs do suck ass really bad It's those bugura speakers I don't know who makes them but they skouldn't I know why they don't put there name on the I wouldn't either.
