Members Harlon
I'm trying to find a few good songs that feature at least a small section with only bass playing. As an example, I have "The Chains" by Fleetwood Mac (there is also actually a hi-hat, I believe during that solo, but that's ok). I just want to look hard at some bass EQ curves w/o the other instruments. I really like "My City Was Gone" by The Pretenders, but the drums are pretty heavy alongside the cool bass intro. Suggestions?

Members basshunter
Lee Sklar's solo section in James Taylor's "Your Smiling Face", while fairly short, deserves major props. Whether you like JT or not, every bass player should be familiar with this tune. Ray Brown doing "America the Beautiful"
