Members Taustin Powers Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 The Judas Priest album, that is! This is just one of those albums that, decades later, still just plain rocks in all sorts of awesome ways! Fast and furious all the way through, ridiculous insane drums and guitar work, and a Rob Halford that is positively on fire! Not to mention the lyrics...he wails about laser bullets, electric madness, steel warriors, ripping out hearts, chromium plated boiling metal, planets devastated, metal meltdown....need I say more? {censored}ing amazing! And the album cover just rounds up this perfect package: Amazing!! (Sidenote: I never got into other Priest stuff, it's really just this album that blows me away.)
Members wilki29 Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 i thought you wanted us to put our favorite painkillers on here......
Members Rippin' Robin Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 Thank God this isn't a thread about spam Painkiller is a great album all the way.
Members James Hart Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 The Painkillers tour was the last time I saw Priest live... it was the 4th time I caught them live!
Members B-Bottom Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 I can honestly say that I've never really listend to Judas priest.....kind of weird huh
Members James Hart Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 I can honestly say that I've never really listend to Judas priest.....kind of weird huh check out "Unleashed in the East" It's a live release from around the 'British Steel' era. It's a good snap shot of earlier stuff.

I'll give it a shot. It's strange because I'm kind of a metal guy, yet I've never really listend to them
Members Taustin Powers Posted July 16, 2007 Author Members Posted July 16, 2007 I was always more of a Maiden guy than a Priest guy. But I have to say, this album, not even the mighty Maiden can touch!
Members SteveyDevey Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 I thought this might be about this cheesy (but fun) game:
Members FloydianAnimal Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 Good album! But what about the bass playing on it?
Members BEAD Posted July 16, 2007 Members Posted July 16, 2007 I thought you meant That's the first thing I thought too. What an excellent album. One of my old coworkers had it. I need to get my own copy.
Members DarkCide Posted August 11, 2007 Members Posted August 11, 2007 Probably the best metal album ever. Just perfect!
Members SpaceGhost Posted August 11, 2007 Members Posted August 11, 2007 That's a band called "Painkiller."The drummer from Napalm Death, John Zorn, Bill Laswell, and two of the guys from Godflesh.Excellent stuff. I haven't heard the album but their are clips up on youtube of that line up but with Tatsuya Yoshida on drums. It's ridiculous.
