It's ok fran...Tbroom is into them colored bass. Do you have any close ups of your fretboard...the figuring on the body looks amazing, and the fretboard looks good too, but I can't get a lot of detail from that shot.

I'm not saying mines prettier by any means, im just saying a run of the mill 2 tone burst isn't even in the same category as the Quilts or odder colors thats all.
Here's the fretboard, these pics really don't do it justice though. im a {censored}ty photographer

Lake-land

Owner is Dan Lakin and they're made by the lake in Chicago....

they have the line above the A in the logo to indicate Lake...

Thanks man, I thought that's what the line meant.

Hope to play one, one of these days. :thu:

Ok, it's dirty and not standing straight but here's my 55-94.

I personally find that to be one of the most attractive basses Lakland has ever made. However, despite many objections by others, I'd throw a pickguard on there. It's just my thing.

How about "Hopeful Lakland Owners" ;)

If I ever see this beauty show up on ebay again, I might liquidate my 401k for it..

Or, if I ever have an insane amount of money to blow, Lakland might do a custom job for me
