Members sartana Posted July 22, 2007 Members Posted July 22, 2007 Awhile ago I bought a bass for myself and one for my son when www.wwbw.com had their big Fullerton sale. The Fender copy was a bass package that came with a small 20watt ss Fullerton amp that is ok and workable but since my wife and are seperated and divorce bound I told my son to keep it at his mom's and we will get a better one for home. We play everday that he is home with me and guitar is our main focus but we also are learning bass and we need a decent amp for us to use here. So I would like to get some opinions of bass amps for us to consider buying. We aren't looking for something to blast us but a decent smallish starter amp. Any and all help and suggestions would be welcome! Thanks in advance, Sartana
Members Iloverush Posted July 22, 2007 Members Posted July 22, 2007 I just bought a used Yorville BM50 (50 watts) for $150 cdn. and I really like it. It sounds good and doesn't 'fart' when cranked. Hope it helps!
Members willsellout Posted July 22, 2007 Members Posted July 22, 2007 I will always recommend the Gallien Krueger 800RB. It's perfect IMO and can be had for less than 4 bills on ebay. Dan
