Members spikemullings
I hate fretless bass. I hate the sound of it and I hate the thought of playing one. Obviously I'm excluding Jaco. I didn't mind Pino Palladino for about 10 minutes before all that sliding around got on my frigging nerves. Is there any fretless bass playing I should listen to that will change my mind? Members davis1
Lots of records are recorded with a fretless. The players just choose not to emphasize of the sliding and the "muah" sound so it sounds like a fretted..

Members Death Hands
I love playing fretlesses. So far, it's just fretted bass, but with many more tonal options, so I dig it.

Members Death Hands
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWDgLIfVKao That's one of the worst performances of that song ever, and I still love it. Who said that Jaco needed a fretless bass? I love this video because of the youthful dude's reactions. Makes me smile.
