Marcus Miller control plate

I want to put the Marcus Miller control plate on my bass in place of the standard chrome one on there. The only problem is that it has 6 holes instead of 4. What could I do to fill up the extra holes, or how could I get the plate with only 4 holes? What if I bought the plate and a piece of pick guard material and traced it then had some one cut it out? Just a question. I just thought of this 5 minutes ago so I'm not too committed. But any info would be helpful. Heres a picture of the piece I want: http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/0080107000.jpg

Thanks.

I'm sure they'd cut/drill you one with four holes-have you contacted them about such an option?

Otherwise, I'm not sure what you'd do with the extra holes if it's just a passive Jazz.

Series/parallel? Stereo wiring?

Beer tap?;)

I could just drill a hole straight through the bass and attach it to a keg. That would be the {censored}.

If they won't, lots of other suppliers will. :thu:

Like who? Would I just send in an e-mail asking if they could do it?
