Members Neonfacelift Posted August 2, 2007 Members Share Posted August 2, 2007 I know there was one of these yesterday, but it got me thinking so i thought I'd post again. It seems that the general consensus is that a 212 gives a "meatier" sound. I've got a SWR goliath II at the moment and it's the only cab I've ever had, so I have no frame of reference. I've played different cabs at the GC, but you can never get a good idea due to all the "shredding" going on in the background. I think I'd like to try a 212 since I'm always finding that I sound a little too bright. Can anyone tell me how maybe an Avatar or Dr Bass 212 will sound in comparison to my SWR?
