It's towards the end of the game, score is probably close. In a last desperate move one of the players (running back?) suddenly pulls out a gun and shoots the last player that's in his way so he can score. And then I believe he shoots himself (not sure about that though...). I am 90% sure it's not "Any Given Sunday", although I think that one started with a rainy football game, too...? Anyone?
