Anyone in the Worcester, MA area looking to form a crazy metal band?

Before I get into what I'm looking for, these are my favorite metal-influenced bands (there are a few others, but this pretty much sums things up):

*Converge

*Between the Buried and Me

*(OLD)Metallica

*Dillinger Escape Plan (Calculating Infinity era)

*Botch

*Fall of Troy

*The Number 12 Looks Like You

*Slayer

I also enjoy bands such as: Norma Jean, At The Gates, The Hope Conspiracy, Drowningman, Daughters, Soilwork, and Carcass (but I'm not as heavily influenced by them).

My Story: I am a guitarist (and sometimes vocalist), who is sick of playing in bands that lead nowhere and have no real focus. If you feel this way too, please read on....

I have been playing for over 15 years (I'm 27), and consider myself to be pretty well rounded (besides metal, I enjoy prog, indie, 70's hard rock, new wave, and even some jazz here and there). I am fairly technically proficient (although I wouldn't call myself an "expert"), and understand basic music theory.

I love guitar solos, but only when they are necessary for the song. More importantly, I LOVE odd time signatures and extreme dynamics. I want to MOVE the audience, both physically and mentally- I want them screaming along with every word and fearing for their lives.

I am open to jamming with anyone that has the same goals and aspirations as myself. I want fellow musicians that share a similar vision. Drummers, bass players, guitarists, existing bands in need of some new blood are ALL welcome.

I don't have a jam space, but I'm sure it will be cheap enough to rent one in the Worcester area, if at least 3 or 4 people are sharing it.

Please PM me, if you want to make this happen.

I'm not just looking to jam, and I definitely have good enough equipment to gig with. I want to play as many shows as possible!

Thanks.
